AND WELL-BEING
When faced with serious psychiatric cases, I always wondered if it would have been possible to treat that patient earlier, in order to reduce suffering. Why do patients, in general, take so long to seek a psychiatrist?
Many people still associate Psychiatry only with the treatment of serious cases. If professional help is not sought at the first symptoms, there is a possibility of worsening the clinical condition, further penalizing the patient.
Therefore, I often clarify that in my medical practice I have the resources to treat people who seek self-knowledge, without necessarily having a “psychiatric illness”. I therefore emphasize that prevention is also a function of the psychiatrist.
In my care, I seek to promote health, encouraging patients and their families to develop healthy habits and positive emotional relationships.
Every illness causes suffering and vulnerability.
However, treatment is not limited to the pathology and symptom relief.
I consider the patient in their life trajectory, their biography, encouraging them to seek the meaning of the current illness in order to overcome it.
From the perspective of Anthroposophic Medicine, illness is an opportunity for the patient to rethink their past, strengthen themselves in the present and redirect their own life, planning their future with more coherence.
In its worldview, it opens up perspectives for answering man's deepest questions about himself (his origin, his destiny and his identity) and about his relationship with Nature. It is, therefore, considered Modern Spiritual Science: science, because it presents a scientific method that can be applied in different places; spiritual, because it considers the existence of suprasensible elements; and modern, because it translates humanity's ancient knowledge into a language more appropriate for today's human being.

ANTHROPOSOPHICAL MEDICINE:
Anthroposophic Medicine , whose foundations were created by Rudolf Steiner and Dr. Ita Wegman in 1920 in Switzerland, aims to expand the medical art in the treatment and prevention of diseases.
It is currently practiced in 60 countries across five continents.
In Brazil, training for doctors is determined by ABMA – Brazilian Association of Anthroposophic Medicine.

ANTHROPOSOPHIC MEDICATION:
Anthroposophic medicines are dynamized to enhance the essence of substances from the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms. They can be used in combination with allopathic medication and often help reduce the dosage of the latter.
I work with a focus on your health as an individual. After all, mental health is the basis for all human activities, negatively or positively influencing your physical health, your professional performance and your interpersonal relationships within your family and society.
We understand that Medicine (from the Latin “ mederi ”, which originally meant the act or knowledge of “knowing the best way” for something) is the art of caring for human health. You can and deserve to learn more about this path of self-care towards quality of life.
The more prepared you are to take care of your mental health, the more this benefit will extend to your body and your feelings, bringing a feeling of balance and well-being.
Take care of yourself first.
This way, you will be ready to take care of everyone you love.
