Explanation of the extraordinary convocation of the National Education Conference - CONAE, which guides the National Education Plan (PNE). Families long for a public education free from ideologies, nonpartisan and free from "progressive" traps.

Brazil is facing one of the most important moments in its history. In a few days, the National Education System (SNE), a draft that will eventually serve as a guide for CONAEE and, later, for the National Education Plan (PNE), will reach its final stretch, defining the basis for national education for the next 10 years – 2024/2034.

If the SNE is approved as it is being presented, it will open the door to a dangerous deviation in the basic education of young Brazilians. In short, it would bring into the classrooms the Marxist ideology that is contrary to what we hold most dear to society, such as the values of life, family, religion, private property and freedom.

Our warning is about the risk of parents losing power over their children's education. This issue requires the engagement of all citizens who care about the future of Brazil.

I recommend that you update yourself on this subject and feel motivated to actively participate in this dialogue at home, at school and in society.
