Based on clinical care, doctors reveal the consequences of the post-pandemic period on children's physical and mental health .

Although the COVID-19 pandemic is now behind us, doctors, parents and teachers still have doubts about the care provided to children. It is no coincidence that these uncertainties exist, as there are many doctors and authorities with conflicts of interest, whose speeches are disseminated and reinforced by the media, which still spreads misinformation.

My intention in organizing this live broadcast was to shed light on the debate, so that you can draw your own conclusions. I invited Dr. Valéria Caselli, a pediatrician, Dr. Cynthia França, a pediatric rheumatologist, and Dr. Jandir Loureiro, an occupational physician, to share the results of their clinical practice in caring for children and their families, before, during, and after the pandemic.

The physical and psychological consequences of the pandemic and post-inoculation in children also bring a new challenge in this scenario in which common viruses generate fear and panic for parents. What should we do?

As a psychiatrist, I am concerned about the use of fear to manipulate human lives. Therefore, I recommend that you watch the recording of this live broadcast in order to obtain qualified information to support your decisions about health care for you and your family.
