Recently, two headlines have been making waves on social media. They refer to the public announcement by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, the American company responsible for
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp announced changes to their moderation rules, which were previously required and mediated by fact-checkers, who are usually activists aligned with globalism. After all, “fake news” is fought with more truth, and not with censorship, as progressives and some who claim to be defenders of democracy do.
The second piece of news, which brings great revelation to this historic moment, is the resignation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, after years in power. Using an iron fist, especially during the pandemic, he always decided on disproportionate measures that were harmful to the population. He was elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2011, 2015 and 2019. Amid criticism, Trudeau won the 2021 elections again, but without winning a majority in Parliament. Weakened and, more recently, dejected by the lack of popular support in the face of his tyrannical impositions, he thus ended his cycle, after 16 years in power.
